The goal was to create an emotional, dynamic space that not only provides comfort but also makes employees feel happier. The office was meant to become a physical embodiment of the company’s “hug industry” philosophy.

The previous office, located in an old Soviet-era building, no longer met the needs of a fast-growing company. Over the past 17 years, Oasis’s corporate culture has changed significantly, and the team needed a “new home” aligned with the atmosphere of a modern Class A business center.

The architects were tasked with designing a comfortable environment for collaboration — one that would strengthen the company’s HR brand, attract talent, and inspire teams to create new products.

Spatial Organization

The office is designed for up to 240 employees, with 129 workstations in place. Around 60% of the team works remotely, so a hybrid model is fully integrated into the space. A smart desk allocation system includes 69 assigned desks and 60 unassigned (hot desks).

Open space areas take up most of the space. Despite the high density, the layout avoids rigid and monotonous rows, creating a more relaxed atmosphere with elements of “creative chaos.” Glass meeting rooms are placed within the open space.

A key highlight of the office is the showroom — a bright, flexible, and multifunctional space used for both client meetings and internal creative sessions. It features a retractable ceiling-mounted screen, a projector, and an audio system.

Soft seating areas with comfortable chairs offer spaces for informal work or conversations over coffee. Another focal point is the bold and vibrant kitchen.

The office uses the UnSpot system for booking meeting rooms and unassigned desks. All meeting rooms are equipped with screens for online meetings.

Design Concept

The idea was to create a creative, slightly festive atmosphere that inspires the making of gifts, while still supporting focused work.

A calm grey-beige palette forms the base. On top of it, brighter combinations of contemporary colors and subtle red accents appear — referencing the brand’s friendly mascot.

To avoid visual fatigue for employees working at computers, bright colors are placed either above or below eye level — for example, in furniture bases or lighting — and are mostly concentrated in communication areas.

Soft, flowing lighting shapes, solid volumes of upholstered furniture, and pop-art-inspired patterns make the space feel contemporary and уютный.

Acoustic panels are carefully integrated into the ceiling, keeping the space visually clean.

Zoning within the dense open-plan area is created using custom multifunctional shelving. These elements serve as storage, display for merchandise, and writable surfaces for brainstorming.

Custom-built built-in furniture deserves special attention. Its defining feature is a bright, colorful “inner layer” that subtly reveals itself through the joints of panels and cabinet doors.

This detail creates a sense of hidden energy — as if the interior is hinting that it could be even more vibrant and expressive beneath the surface.

We really enjoyed working on this project, exploring bold and cheerful color combinations. Not only because the client allowed it, but also because office interiors are usually much more restrained — here, we didn’t have to limit ourselves to a typical neutral palette.

It’s also quite rare to see a brief that explicitly says the office should make employees happier. As architects, you always try to imagine yourself in the space, testing how it works — so the process itself was very inspiring. We hope the result will be just as inspiring for the Oasis team.

One of the most successful decisions in the project is the furniture layout. It allows us to accommodate the entire team when needed — including those who usually work remotely but come to the office for events or meetings. At the same time, employees who are in the office every day feel comfortable thanks to well-sized workstations and enough storage.

The most visually striking areas are the showroom and the kitchen. Not long ago, our CEO even recorded a podcast in the kitchen — it’s such a bright and engaging space that we wanted to show it to clients and partners who haven’t visited us yet.

This project was very important for us. After many years in an outdated building, we wanted the new office to match the level of a Class A business center and, more importantly, to become a true new home for our team.
