JURY CHOOSED FINALISTS OF THE COMPETITION TO THE INCOMING GROUP OF THE HOTEL

The jury of the international competition for the design of the Ukraina Hotel in Moscow entrance group chose three finalists for the contest: ABD architects with the participation of Werner Sobek Moskwa, Studio 44 and TPO Lesosplav with the participation of Malishev Wilson Engineers.
"The task turned out to be more complicated than we thought, and even many experienced participants were not among the first applicants. The choice was difficult: there were many interesting options, but not all participants succeeded completely in solving all tasks set in the technical requirements of the competition, " - says the Moscow Chief Architect Sergey Kuznetsov.
ABD architects with the participation of Werner Sobek Moskwa proposed to make a canopy over the entrance of the hotel "Ukraine" in the form of a rectangular plate "blade" that covers the entrance area and access ramps. Architects also proposed to clear the territory along the main entrance from cars and organize there lawns and squares.
