The famous Gorbunov Club is one of the best examples of the Moscow Culture House, built in 1938 by architect Kornfeld. The construction of the building was delayed for 10 years, so the building, externally sustained  in the innovative forms of the 1920s, has interiors in the Art Deco style. The interiors are well preserved, so the participants will have a rare opportunity to appreciate the constructivist architecture of the Culture House from the outside and see authentic interiors. The excursion will be conducted by Boris Stucheyrukov, the head of one of the largest Moscow architectural bureaus ABD Architects. In the late 90's ABD Architects was preparing a project for the reconstruction of the house of culture, and therefore Boris Stucheyrukov will be able to tell in detail about the history of the building and its features.
