The global network of Yokogawa was founded in 1915, today it has billions of turnover and has 13 companies in 60 countries around the world.
Activity profile — innovations and advanced developments in the field of industrial automation and process control, laboratory and measuring equipment, etc.
In the new office, it was necessary to create a bright, open and flexible workspace in accordance with the ideology, ethics and current style of the company, expressed by the slogan: “Co-innovating tomorrow”. The key values of the brand are the development of society based on high information technologies, maximum response to customer requests, effectiveness and security.
The previous office-corridor system is obviously outdated, so there was a need for a radical renovation of the office. The architects were faced with the task of organizing an open space with a minimum number of separate rooms.
The complex configuration of the building plan with broken facade lines made it difficult to rationally divide the interior into functional zones. As a result, the architects proposed an effective solution that ensures maximum openness, convenient communications between departments, and a comfortable atmosphere for the entire team. Now, with a fairly large number of employees – 268 people — there are only 5 cabinets in the office, separated by glass partitions, as well as meeting rooms.
Various areas of the spacious open space are simply flooded with sunlight, as they are illuminated from two sides — through the facade glass outside the building and through the windows of the large light atrium inside.
The office is equipped with comfortable areas for coworking, recreation and nutrition.
All design solutions are based on a pleasant organic color of yellow, blue and green shades, referring to the images of the sun, water and plants that are close to Japanese culture and are present in the corporate symbols of the Yokogawa company.
Since the office layout is open, special attention was paid to acoustics. All workplaces are equipped with noise-insulating partitions, suspended or modular acoustic panels, for example, in meeting rooms.
